Transcend aims to be “The Ultimate Titling Typeface”. This typeface is an exploration of my own “Carrig” from 2014. I have evolved its core personality and embellished it by means of crisp, sharp lines and serifs, adding stylised ink traps/notches, as well as carefully considered swashes, flourishes, and ligatures that add a touch of class and refinement to every word you type. The basis for the digital version of the Stiftung Werkstattmuseum für Druckkunst , Leipzig was the standard font (28p) of the manual cuts as offered by the font foundry Johannes Wagner, Ingolstadt. The implementation was deliberately created as a replica to create a faithful reproduction as a starting point for the design of other design sizes. The present Kristall Grotesk is therefore a headline design. Download Cal Roman Black Font Family From Posterizer KG Cal Roman Black is one more font from the PKG “Cal” (Calligraphic) group. This time for calligraphic sketches we used a wide brush instead of the iron pen. Instead of minuscule letters, there are Small Caps (which are almost the same weight as capitals). There was an intention to keep the spacing as small as possible, because of that, there is no obvious difference in the stroke thickness of the capitals and the lowercase capital letters. The difference in height is only one-third of the brush-width. Cal Roman Black font is rhythmic, informal, dark and hefty... romantic and strong at the same time (just like Ferdinand).
